It is not possible to fall pregnant just after your period unless your period wasnt really a period. A period is the sluffing off of your uteran lining. Your body has to follow a cycle to build a lining for implantation. If you were to 'get pregnant' just after having a true period, there wouldnt be a thick lining for implantation and the fetus would 100% end in miscarriage. Some women bleed and consider it a period when its not really a period. In these circumstances it might be around the time of ovulation and you can conceive or, have already have conceived and dated incorrectly. But if you have a full fledge period, you cant get pregnant directly afterward as nothing would be there to support the baby that trys to implant.
Your menstrual cycle begins on the first day of your period and continues up to the first day of your next period. You are most fertile atthe time of ovulation, (when an egg is released from your ovaries) which usually occurs 10-16 days before your next period starts. This is the time of the month when you are most likely to get pregnant.
Therefore, while it is possible to conceive just after your period, it is not very probable.
However, it is important to remember that sperm can survive in the body for up to seven days after you have sex. This means that if your period lasts seven days, you could be just five days away from ovulation by the time it is finished. If you ovulate early, there will be even less time between the end of your period and the time when you are most fertile again.
You should always use contraception when you have sex if you do not want to become pregnant.
