At the time my doctor told me that it can be harder to get pregnant if you suffer from cysts on the ovary or polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). However, each women is different and some will have no problems getting pregnant while others will find it difficult.



There are other factors which may affect how difficult you find it to conceive rather than ovarian cysts being the main cause so it's best to get checked out properly for other factors.



The type and size of your cysts is also another factor which has to be taken into consideration for ovarian cysts pregnancy issues. The bigger the cyst the more pressure it may have on other organs such as the bladder.



Once you know that ovarian cysts are the main cause of your difficulties then you can concentrate on finding an effective treatment.



First off, my doctor simply suggested observing my cyst over a month or two to check if it shrinks on its own. If you have severe pain then you'll be prescribed pain killers whilst the observation period is underway.



One of my cysts showed no change on the ultrasound scan and another had actually increased in size. It was then recommended that I undergo surgery to remove the large cyst. I needed time to think about it because there I was wanting to have a baby and I was worried that the surgery could put that at risk. It was all I could think about and I did some more research about natural remedies.
