Okay, maybe it’s just me….but I got an invitation to my friend’s baby shower, and the wording sounds so strange to me. She decided to name the baby Logan, and the invitation says:
“Join us to celebrate the newest arrival
and help them prepare for Logan’s survival.”
Prepare for his survival?? Is it just me?? That sounds SO odd to me; who would say “we are preparing for our baby’s survival.”?
I just had to ask others opinions because another friend of ours said it didnt sound too weird…

The baby will be 1 month old. We had a June shower planned, but since all the flooding in Iowa we had to postpone it. He will be the guest of honor!
Sorry, the new shower date is Aug 30th and we are sending invites out this weekend.

I am having a “diaper shower” for a friend- where everyone brings diapers instead of gifts from a registry. How can I word “bring diapers as a gift” on the invitation.

I know I’ll need the location, who it’s being thrown by, when to rsvp by, the phone number, directions, and what not. But how do I word all of that, as well as where I’m registered & there’s going to be a diaper raffle for a $25 restaurant gift certificate. Just no idea how to word all of this, help please? Oh, and the theme is pink & purple/princess.
Do you not see that in my question it says WHO IT’S BEING HOSTED BY!

I’m throwing a shower for my sister-in-law. The invitations are super chic, she’s a very modern, fashinista type girl. I don’t want to put any corny sayings or anything. Just something simple and maybe a little funny, but nothing “cute” at all.
