I am 30yrs old and I had my first two kids when i was just a teenager whom are now 11 and 12. I never really had a baby shower with my other two but feel quite silly having one now for my third child. It’s just this feels like the first I guess with me being mature i can actually enjoy the precious moments of motherhood. My husband says i should since this is our first together and i should experience every wonderful thing that comes along with a baby on board!

Some background info.. I’m 18 years old and the host ( i guess thats what she would be called?) of the baby shower is 19. It’s my girlfriends roommate and were really good friends. Looking for something fun or something useful? I have no idea.

aunt sharon asked:
The new baby is a little girl. So, the question is “if I have one room all pink and sweet for the shower can I leave all the rest of the Halloween oriented stuff up?” I am so torn .. I don’t want to be inappropriate.

Amanda asked:
I’m invited to an old friend’s baby shower. It’s a 5-hour drive, so I’ve decided I’m not going. At my job, I have access to TONS of children’s books.
Is it wrong for me to give her some children’s books as a gift– and nothing else? Or should I send something that I actually bought, too?
